Ready to make a chocoholic berry delicious lunch? It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

First- make it fun and age appropriate. Whether that is by including a fun printable with a game on it, a love note from Mommy, or something more tween/teen-terrific like coordinating chopsticks–you know what will inspire a smile on your child.

(which I found at Walmart, along with the September/October issue of All You) makes a snack or lunch a fun experience. Think about it: why not turn those spoonfuls of pudding into a delectable dipping sauce or ‘fondue’? Since we probably shouldn’t bring fondue sticks to school, we decided to dress up this fun and fabulous school lunch idea with some decorative chopsticks that Daddy brought back from his deployment in Japan.

Cute, isn’t it? Not only is it a fun lunch idea, but the chopsticks are also a conversation starter. Not that teenage girls need help coming up with something to talk about!

Fruit with Chocolate ‘Fondue’ School Lunch

Wash fruit/berries. We used large green grapes and strawberries.
Fill small containers with selection of fruit, and add to lunch bag.
Add a chocolate Hershey’s Ready to Eat Pudding.
Toss in some fun chopsticks, a cute note, or age-appropriate printable game.

Hershey’s Ready to Eat Pudding is the perfect thing to have on hand for quick snacks, or a treat to toss in with your child’s school lunch! It’s already a delicious snack on it’s own, but adding in some fruit or crackers makes it an experience. And trust me–if your child brings this to school as a dipping sauce or ‘fondue’, their friends will be wishing they had one too!

You could go for the chocolate or S’mores flavor. Personally, I like to alternate between the two because they are both that good.

And my daughter, well–when she took this in her school lunch the first time, she came home and said it was the best lunch ever. I don’t blame her. I’d be saying the same thing.

Over and over again.
