We also purchase an Advent Calendar each year and the boys really enjoy this tradition as well. Last year we were gifted the and the boys still play with the pirate toys from it all the time! In fact, the picture above is from that calendar!
This year we caught a great deal on the and plan on using that for our Elf in the upcoming weeks! Simple allow a few day of using the calendar so that you have some open slots and one morning your children will find your elf in one of the holes! You need to be careful with this Elf on the Shelf idea though, make sure he pops our of a hole that isn’t near the next slot you will open-remember, no touching the Elf!
