I have mentioned in my how I often resort to trickery to get my picky eater to eat. One tactic is to make eating fun and the food attractive. Will loves food to be in different colors and shapes and this early St. Patty’s Day lunch made his day! I loved it because everything (except sprinkles) was extremely healthy for him! If you are on and love this snack, be sure to pin it!
St. Patrick’s Day Kids Snacks
- Spinach Tortilla Shamrocks: I cut shamrock shapes in the tortilla and threw them in the oven at 350 for about 5-6 minutes. They came out crunchy and delicious. I served them with one of Will’s favorite condiments-salsa! If you have a shamrock cookie cutter this will be much easier for you.
- Leprechaun Yogurt: I simply added some green sprinkles to yogurt to make leprchaun footprints in his yogurt. As an afterthought I could have added yellow to make it his “pot of gold”.
- Rainbow of Fruit: Using a bag of frozen mixed fruit, I made a little rainbow design.
Be on the lookout for future ideas-I will be including some cute !
